All chimney systems must be installed in strict accordance with the requirements of the local Building Control Office. The connection of a gas appliance must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

Twin wall chimney system :
We supply the British made Midtherm HT Plus to enable a cost effective class 1 chimney system to be installed quickly and easily without the need for special tools or previous experience. The product is designed to connect directly to the single wall vitreous enamelled flue pipe connected to the appliance.

Product :
Midtherm HT Plus is a class 1 chimney manufactured with the following specification using the latest manufacturing and welding technology ensuring high quality and value for money.
The product allows the installation of an economic class 1 chimney system in any part of a building. This enables design freedom to place multi-fuel burning appliances such as stoves and cooking ranges, in the exact loction required.
As HT Plus is an insulated twin-wall chimney system, it can pass through floors, ceilings and roof pitches with very little disruption to the interior of the building allowing the installation to be carried out quickly and without major disruption to the built fabric. Floor and ceiling fittings are designed to ensure ventilation and minimum seperation distances from combustable materials are maintained.
HT Plus has a 0.5mm 316L 2B grade stainless steel inner linner with a welded seam and a 0.5mm 304 BA grade stainless steel outer casing with a welded seam. Insulation is 25mm high density mineral wool 128kg/m cube. Lengths and fittings have a quick and easy socket and spigot jointing system which is leak proof when installed as recommended. Locking bands are used to secure the joints on site.

Application :
Midtherm HT Plus is designed for high temperature applications in the domestic and commercial market for gas, oil, solid fuel and multi-fuel installations where appliances burn with flue gas temperatures of up to 450 deg.C under continuous firing. It is soot fire resistant and is suitable for use on gas and oil fired condensing appliances up to pressures of 1000Pa, when sealed correctly with a Red silicone 'O' ring.

Colours :
As an optional extra, all HT Plus products can be stove enamelled or powder coated to any BS or RAL colour code. Please ask for a quotation.

Product designation and testing :
Midtherm HT Plus has been independently tested at BSRIA and complies with the specific requirements of BS EN 1856-1:2003 and the general requirements of BS EN 1443:2003 and comlies with all relevent clauses.
LNE carry out independent inspections of the factory production control for the CE mark. The product CE mark number is 0071-CPD-10959.

IMPORTANT :
Gas fired appliances can only be fitted by a gas engineer on the Gas Safe Register.
